ShutterFinder Privacy Policy

1. INTRODUCTION

ShutterFinder ("the App") is developed by Apps on Set. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

2. DATA WE COLLECT

ShutterFinder has no account system, no advertising and no tracking. It never collects your name, email address, location, photos or anything else that identifies you.

Anonymous usage statistics:
- When a measurement finishes or is cancelled: the outcome (for example the detected flicker frequency, the recommended shutter speed and the frame rate you selected) and how long the measurement took.
- Whether the "How's ShutterFinder working out?" question was shown, and which answer was chosen.
- Basic technical information such as the app version, iOS version and device model.

These are sent with a random identifier that is not linked to you, collected through TelemetryDeck. Nothing is sent from test builds.

3. CAMERA

The app uses your iPhone's camera solely to measure light flicker in real time. All processing happens on your device - no images or video are ever saved, uploaded, or shared.

4. MEASUREMENTS

Your measurements are processed on your device. Only the anonymous outcome described in section 2 is sent - never an image, a video or your location.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

- TelemetryDeck: anonymous usage statistics (see section 2). No personal data, no tracking.
- Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store - we never receive or store your payment details.
- No advertising or tracking SDKs are included.

6. CHILDREN

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. CHANGES

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
