Martini Privacy Policy

1. INTRODUCTION

Martini ("the App") is developed by Apps on Set. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

2. DATA WE COLLECT

Local Data (stored on your device only):
- Work day times and entries you log
- Project names, deals, and settings
- Your profile information (name, address, contact details)
- GPS coordinates (only when you explicitly enable location for a time entry)

Account Data (when you create an optional account):
- Email address and name (for authentication)
- Your projects, work days, and time entries, including calculated amounts (synced to our server)
- Your settings and profile (synced to our server)
- Generated reports (uploaded for browser access)

Feedback (when you use the in-app Feedback tab):
- The message you write and, if you choose to provide them, your name and email address — sent to our server so we can read and answer it.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

- To calculate overtime, mileage, and generate reports
- To sync your data across devices (only if you create an account)
- To allow you to access reports from your browser
- To publish a project overview when you create a share link (you control what is visible)
- To respond to feedback you submit through the app

We use your data for nothing else: no advertising, no profiling, no analytics.

4. DATA STORAGE

Local data is stored on your device using Apple SwiftData. If you create an account, synced data is stored on our servers hosted by DreamHost in the United States.

5. SECURITY

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Passwords are stored as secure hashes and are never readable by us. Access to reports and synced data requires your personal access token.

6. LOCATION DATA

The app requests location permission only to calculate mileage. Location is captured as a single point when you save a time entry with GPS enabled. You can always choose to enter an address instead, or log an entry without any location.

Optionally, Martini offers Home Arrival Detection: after you log a wrap-related entry, the app can monitor your location in the background for up to two hours to automatically log your "Arrived Home" time. While active, iOS shows the standard background-location indicator. This feature stops automatically and can be turned off entirely in the app settings (Automation -> Home arrival detection). No background location is ever collected outside this window.

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

- Apple MapKit: used to calculate driving distances between GPS points and for address search. Apple may process coordinates according to their privacy policy.
- Nager.Date public holiday API: used to detect public holidays. Only a date and country code are sent - never any personal data.
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included.

8. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, share, or provide your data to any third parties. Share links you create only show the project data you choose to make visible, and can be deactivated at any time from within the app.

9. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

We keep your account data only for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual projects, work days, and time entries at any time within the app. If you have an account, you can permanently delete it - including all synced data, reports, and share links on our servers - directly in the app via the Account tab -> Delete Account. 10. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Most of this you can do directly in the app: your data is editable on the device, reports can be exported, and your account can be deleted in full. For anything else, contact us at hello@appsonset.com - we respond to privacy requests within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. CHILDREN

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. CHANGES

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
